AD Passwords
Remember to change your password every 6 months! We know have an automatic reminder that has been downloaded to all computers. It seems to be annoying at first but helpful because you cannot forget!
Here are the requirements:
Passwords must be 7 or more characters long.
Passwords must include upper and lower case letters.
Passwords must include a number or other symbol (!@#$%^&*_+-=[]{}\;:”<>?,./ <mailto:!@#$%^&*_+-=[]{}\;:”<>?,./> )
Granite Google Account
Did you know that you have a google account offered to you while working in the Granite School District? Your username will be the same as your Active Directory one but just add granitesd.org to the end. Password remains the same, too!

Kindergarten focuses on learning about computers, using the mouse and keyboard and navigating websites.
First and second graders use computer games and websites to reinforce concepts. We begin keyboarding lessons and using MS Office applications such as Word, Powerpoint and Publisher.

Third through 6th graders hone their keyboarding skills in conjunction with practicing internet safety, problem solving with technology and embellishing their computer skills. Some activities are project based with inquiry, research and MS Office applications used to complete the projects. Multi-media as well as hand-held devices are also used to enhance learning.
